Screenshot / DownDetector Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all suffered outages Monday afternoon. The social networks slowly began coming back online for some users after a 6-hour outage.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products,” Facebook wrote in a brief statement. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
The cause of the problem was not immediately known.

Nations have become too reliant on the internet.
You no longer need bullets and bombs and feet on the ground to damage a nation. To weaken their economy.
It may be my tin beanie is on too tight but I would suggest these are just probing probes looking for weaknesses that will be exploited later.

Sounds Ike a trunk line issue if companies unrelated to FB were having performance issues in limited areas.

Mine too. Do you think it has had anything to do with the Sprint merger? I had to get a new SIM card and the phone still is not picking up the TMobile service.
Not ours. And it’s been that way for WEEKS.
Probably. But I was told it was because they were switching to 5G. 🙄
