Yep, tomorrow is my company’s drop dead date. Oct.4th you either have proof of vax or begin testing every week to prove a negative Covid test.

I have a family member that will lose job Jan 1 if Religious Exemption. Like you, they have been working as essential healthcare worker for past 20 months...Taking Zinc, Quercetin, D3, and Ivermectin. Like you we are taking steps to protect ourselves from both vaccinated and unvaccinated...

If the law is followed, EOs won’t have any force inside the workplace. Otherwise Xiden wouldn’t be trying to issue a rarely used special rulemaking for dangerous work conditions through OSHA. Again, I would bet the crafting of the rule is being done to ensure it can withstand a constitutional challenge. Workers’ health has very little to do with the rule else it would have been written 18 months ago.
I took an antibody test a few weeks ago...long term / short term antibodies came out negative.
I know for a fact I’ve been exposed 3 times directly and possibly a fourth.
One fella came back to the office back in Dec. 2019 from a business trip to China...sick with what appeared to be a bad cold or flu. Well, he was here with us in the lab and I worked alongside him for a bit. Eeeeek! That was my first exposure and if I remember correctly, I came down with what was diagnosed as bronchitis. Lasted about 2 weeks. Nasty cough.
Anyhoo....Here I am. Alive and well.

So, my question is
Are the workplaces on very thin legal ice by just going on an EO alone?
Your question is both simple and complicated because it will depend if the business is impacted by an applicable EO.
For example, a defense contractor could be impacted by an EO, but a food processor may not. There are legal limitations on EOs, and they commonly pertain to the executive branch operations and management under existing laws passed by the Congress.
Some businesses might be reading the tea leaves, or are led by big demonkkkrap donors, etc, so they may take it upon themselves to “get ahead” or support the aims of Xiden even though there is no legal obligation to do so. I just read some businesses in my area that cater to the public now want proof of vax or CCP-virus free (test = negative) else they will not serve you. There is no EO involved, nor local ordinances. But they are all demonkkkrap run businesses.
I would think that those businesses run by Dems that are asking for proof of shots or negative tests would be inviting lawsuits, on the basis that there’s no law allowing them to demand those things.
There is also no law saying they can’t.
And when you add that the places are in urban areas that are 75% demonkkkrap and GOP people are too busy working and typically won’t sue (for a $20 meal) because unlike the left, who seem to have no problem getting “free legal help”.
But for these businesses, they must think it is a smart move to turn away customers because if they didn’t, the so called vaxxed customers would not come out. It is telling that a vaccinated person needs to be protected from a non-vaccinated person. It is purely to support the demonkkkraps control of givernment and to force people to get vaxxed else be excluded from society.
Speaking of EO’s I saw on FR the two hidenbiden EO numbers (one for fed workers & contractors, other for the private businesses 100 employees), but can’t find it now.
Do you know what those numbers were?
