Rigged: Ohio’s DeWine, Others Consider Redistricting Map that Would Eliminate Jim Jordan’s District, Solidify Pelosi’s Majority

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, state auditor Keith Faber, and Secretary of State Frank LaRose are considering offering and adopting a redistricting map ahead of the 2022 midterm elections that would be overly beneficial and lopsided toward helping Democrats retain their U.S. House majority, Breitbart News has learned.

Two senior Republican officials briefed on the proposal before its expected introduction next week told Breitbart News that DeWine, Faber, and LaRose are considering drawing a number of pro-Trump Republicans into Democrat-leaning districts as part of retaliation against former President Donald Trump, who the three establishment GOP leaders dislike. The two senior Republicans briefed on the plan told Breitbart News they believe this retaliation from DeWine and others is an effort to steer the GOP away from Trump, who won the the state of Ohio by huge margins in both 2016 and 2020, because they do not like the direction the party is currently going.

The map currently under consideration, these GOP officials said, could jeopardize as many as four or five GOP congressional districts in Ohio—a crushing blow to GOP efforts to retake the U.S. House majority. To retake the majority, Republicans currently need to flip a net five seats or more from Democrat hands into GOP hands in November next year—something that losing several seats in deep-red Ohio could seriously complicate.

A GOP source who has seen the map that DeWine as of now intends to introduce next week told Breitbart News that it would eliminate the district of Trump stalwart Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), pushing it entirely into deep-blue Columbus, Ohio, the state capital, instead.

I live in Ohio and can tell you the the state party officials are nothing but backstabbing RINOs who hate Conservatives.

Trump won Ohio twice, not because of them, but in spite of them.

Please be sure and read the update included in the article.

DeWine is the biggest Assistant Democrat from Ohio since the dreadful days of John (boo-hoo) Boehner.

The only thing that needs done is fixing Jordan’s district map. It’s ridiculous and needs to be something other then a snake. Still can save the seat.

How can DeWine “submit a map”? He has zero role in this.

Jordan was already redistricted once. He used to be my Rep. Now I have semi-RINO Gibbs.

This is a laughably stupid article. Dewine doesn’t have the authority to unilaterally draw any maps. The Ohio legislature ultimately has to approve any maps, any there are GOP supermajorities in both chambers, and both chambers have far more conservatives than RINOs.

Moreover, the report has already been categorically denied. This most likely was planted by a Soros stooge who wants to stir up trouble for no reason.

Kasich? Boy, hasn’t he been quiet since The Election.
Not even appearing on main stream media to toss his 2 cents.

There is no way DeWine’s team would have known what LaRose’s team said to Breitbart News when Tierney sent this statement unless the two parties were coordinating press statements since LaRose’s team’s statement had not yet been published.

This does not make sense - what would have been so unusual about LaRose and DeWine's offices having spoken to each other about an article which portrayed both of them jointly in a very negative light and wherein it was claimed they were working together on the subject matter of the article?

Coupled with the fact they do not draw the maps, this article's credibility is rather dubious. But time will tell and actions vs. accusations and denials will tell the tale. Watch the legislature.

This piece is absolute bulls**t.

Auditor Faber is from Mercer County, one of the most conservative and pro-Trump in the state. Moreover, Faber campaigned hard for Trump last year (I know, because I helped plan some of the visits), and is close with Jim Jordan.

My analysis of the 2020 "election" in Ohio was that it was a "go" for The Steal - but for some reason the Cleveland and Dayton motherships got a stand down order.

The Columbus and Cinci motherships were on board for the Ohio Steal, and were doing their part.

If you've ever seen the movie Independence Day - I've developed a vote fraud theory called "the Mothership theory".

Basically, a Mothership parked over an urban area "controls" a number of counties surrounding the Mothership county.

One can see the outlines of these controlled areas by comparing the 2008 election by county with the 2020 election by county.

Remember - Zero in 2008 was the Second Coming. People, even nominal Republicans, fell all over themselves to vote for the "first black president".

He set records.

You can see the remains of the record-setting Obama votes of 2008 in 2020 in counties not controlled by the Motherships [command and control centers for vote fraud].

A spreadsheet takes about a half hour, then you print a state map by county.

Lastly, you use Wikipedia to locate the Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs), which list the counties in each MSA.

Then you just compare. You can see it like a neon light.

Right now the Ohio House seats are split 12R-4D inccluding one vacant seat for each. With the state losing one seat it would be very, very difficult to jerrymander the districts to 12-3. As it is, the Dems have the 3rd (Columbus), 9th (stretching from Toledo all the way to Cleveland's suburbs), 11th (Cleveland and Akron) and 13th (Akron suburbs and Youngstown). Cincinnati and Dayton districts both have enough suburbs of included to be all Republican. Columbus is too big to divide and conquer, so it is best to concentrate it as a single Dem seat. I don't see how you knock Toledo, Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown to two seats.

Unless some miracle occurs, this redistricting looks like it is to decide which Republican house seat is lost. I hate to be a pessimist, but I don't see how to split the state 12-3 instead of 11-4.

I *think* I know what is going on here. There are two distinct possibilities.

1. The grifter approach. The clowns pushing this story plant this absurdity and get the moron class fired up. (We have a few of those mouth breathers here at FR who target the GOP far more than they do the Democrats). Then, when this never comes to fruition they will take credit and say “see we stopped this with our reporting! Send us mo money and give us mo klikz.”

2. It’s possible that the clowns pushing this story think they can use it as fodder to get the Ohio GOP to enact an extremely aggressive dummymander that might work in 2022, but would be open to big losses down the road when faced with a wave election. The 2010 Ohio plan was one of the best drawn in the nation and it held firm against the 2018 wave. The initial Texas plan was not very aggressive in terms of adding a lot of GOP seats, but instead looked to make every existing GOP seat super safe. The morons might be trying to get Ohio to be more aggressive ignoring the risks of a dummymander.

It sounds like this is probably a bogus story. But the fact that it even seemed plausible illustrates what a joke the Republican party is.

Also an Ohio resident, and this hits the nail on the head. Ohio's grassroots Republicans still have a lot of housecleaning to do, and these corrupt old elephants won't go quietly. Big $$$$ involved.
