Imagine all of the junk under any construction site. They barely detect things that are 2+ feet or smaller across under the soil. Big pipes are still marked and have geotag location because that stuff is useless. Nothing works from an airplane.
Handheld detectors will pick up pennies and old pop tops all day. What detector equipment is out there usually has a sending unit in the pipe.
Even a smart pig running sometimes loses connection and it is active and sending.
The sci-fi tech that you imagine doesn’t exist. We’d have it if it did. We are one of the biggest midstream companies in the USA, and Kinder Morgan would too, along with Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, and All of the other companies too.
Just bury your guns right next to the flagpole or metal fence vertical in a PVC tube.
Check out what Israel Keyes the psychopath murderer did. It’s impossible to know how many guns he hid.

And that you are instructed to turn them in by such and such date, or your electricity will be turned off; your bank account will be locked, as well as your credit cards.

Bingo! I have long pondered how "they" could get Americans to turn in their own guns. The IRS! Or some government agency with the same powers. They will freeze bank accounts and credit cards until such guns bought with 4473 forms are turned in.

They will target high profile patriots first to make an example of them. The media will echo the narratives. "They", I speculate, have already got a plan to take the guns away.

“Well and truly said. On the other hand there have been mass movements here and in other countries in which tens of thousands of unarmed citizens have forced tyrannical governments to end human rights abuses or be overthrown.“

True, and hopefully that will happen here.

You don’t want to turn them all in at one time and overwhelm the system.

Silence is silence.

If enough people get the complete thug treatment (not allowed to call their lawyer, beaten, shot out of hand, etc.), word will get out. The thugs and their bosses are human and WILL make mistakes - and on average they aren’t all that bright. Besides, somewhere along the line one or several of them will turn in their comrades fir one of several reasons - thus kind of thing cannot be kept quiet. Then there will be a reaction.

Not everything is as bleak as you think. The enemy is not all powerful or all knowing.

" Not everything is as bleak as you think. The enemy is not all powerful or all knowing."

To clarify. The thrust if my point is that we are greatly underestimating the enemy. This is a recipe for failure.

The belief that confiscation cannot be hidden from the public is utterly false and a dangerous mindset. It is already happening and has been for a long time. Take any city or town of any significant size and you will find local Police SWAT teams conduct dozens, even hundreds of raids every month and you will hear about one or two on the local news. The dozens of others you will hear nothing about and have no way of finding out any information or detail about such raids. Red flag laws have been on the books in several states for some time including FL and they have been used extensively to take guns from law abiding citizens. Red flag law enforcement is being used on a large scale yet the public is being kept in the dark. Gun confiscation raids will be kept even tighter for obvious reasons. Ask yourself, if you have no means to find out about dozens of raids your local police departments are conducting how do you think you will find out about confiscation raids?

The point is to at least make clear that some of our guns will of hidden away so that they will be deterred from trying to take them.

I've never seen that strategy work with trying to deter cops from taking drugs from a drug dealer.

OF INTEREST FROM ANOTHER POST:

What was supposed to be a relatively uneventful student demonstration was suppressed by police, which led to massive protests throughout Czechoslovakia. The numbers quickly ballooned until half a million students were out on the streets, and the entire Communist government resigned in less than the span of a week. A few days later, the entire country went on strike. Less than two weeks after it began, the entire Communist apparatus had collapsed.

I remember the scene. Evenings when thousands gathered before government buildings. Ordinary men, women and students in the throng. No speakers, no chants, no violence, just the sound of thousands of sets of keys being rhythmically shaken. They were saying “No! We are done with you!”......without uttering a word.....and they won!

Good. Let us now begin to shake our keys at the fraudulently elected.
