Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-VW) office on Thursday, ahead of when the House is supposed to vote on the “bipartisan” infrastructure bill, denies the reports that claim a deal has been made with the senator on a path to a reconciliation package.

A spokesperson from the senator’s office told Politico, “There is no agreement, Manchin stands by his statement yesterday and reports of a number are completely inaccurate. He will continue to work in good faith.”

It’s like how McCain used to lie to Republican leadership and media.

Manchin is not gonna be part of this “deal”.

They might get Sinema (sp?) though.

what we are up against is too big to vote our way out of I’m afraid.
The west as been crippled by the left wing loons and their self hating policies, their pathological desire to control.

Manchin put a blanket lid at $1.5 trillion.

He’s not moving. Sinema is probably on board. They’re working together.
It helps each quite a bit so the fanatical Left can’t focus on one.

What is interesting about the 2 D Senators is this is the 1st time in my life I can remember a DC Dem bucking the party on anything

Going rouge on the party use to be solely a McCain/Romney GOP thing.

“They can do a lot of irreversible damage with $1.5T.”

They are doing a lot of irreversible damage without the $1.5T.

Casey was a state, not national, politician

Miller was retired not in DC.

Miller was retired not in DC.

He was a US Senator from 2000 to 2004. He was appointed in 2000 to replace Paul Coverdell, then won the special election that year to serve the remainder of the term.
