Thursday on “CNN Newsroom,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) sounded off on Gen. Mark Milley reportedly blaming the State Department for the botched withdrawal out of Afghanistan.
Schiff noted that the “intelligence was pretty good” and said there are “profound questions” about why the Biden administration didn’t have contingency plans in place for what was a “foreseeable” outcome.

Gosh, yes, didn't Schiff do such a good job? More shilling from Breitbart.
You mean besides the fact that he is showing signs of cognitive decline due to age and that he was incapable of doing this job on the best day he ever had in his life?
Schiff looking for a fall guy - who should have come up with a “contingency plan.”
Biden and his masters didn’t want no “contingency plan.” The objective was to get the troops out of Afghanistan before Sept. 11th, no matter what.
Schiff is, as he has in the past, hiding behind the "I've got a secret" nature of the Intelligence Committee and his magical intelligence that was supposedly "pretty good" is apparently not good enough to see the light of day. He has no credibility, no honor, no case.
No one expected the collapse that quickly. That I do believe.
I think the political strategy was to sync our withdraw and the end of the war with September 11 (20 year anniversary). Have a big speech. Declare victory. Then a year later when everything goes to shit blame the Afghanis or others here...
I don’t think it worked out for them.
Military expert Schiff noted that the “intelligence was pretty good.”
Since Schiff is evil - we can assume whoever’s attempting to destroy our country has decided to dump Biden...
The chaotic withdraw and leaving behind citizens, the implosion of their government so rapidly, clearly puts the onus on the administration. There was to much media coverage, to many images, testimony... Even a media favourable to this administration can’t really burry this or break the obvious link. The stinky smell of the turd they left behind is going to stick to them.
Had they gotten their delay / some time before the collapse, the average person wouldn’t associate the implosion of Afghanistan with the administration, necessarily. The administration would be able to push the blame on the Afghanis (which they tried anyway), and point fingers in the US across the aisle...
“No one expected the collapse that quickly. That I do believe.”
Make that “No one calling the shots”
He wanted the last troops out ON Sepember 11th , so he could do a "mission accomplished" photo op. Instead, the Taliban stuck their finger in his eye.
Trump left Biden a logical plan and it confused the hell out of Biden like everything else does.
Question Is Why Didn’t Biden Have Contingency Plans in Place
***Because Biden wanted it this way.
All I know is that we’re paying way too much for a CIA, an NSA, a State Department and in “Intelligence” Community.
If Trump just had an overcrowded plane getting people out, Schiff would have been screaming “impeach!” F’n hypocrite.
