"...warns Taliban 'remain a terrorist organization'
Top generals assessed need for 2,500 American troops in Afghanistan despite Biden claiming no one told him.

Chairman of the (Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley) called the war in Afghanistan a "strategic failure" for the United States during testimony before the House Armed Services Committee Wednesday, warning that the Taliban "remain a terrorist organization" and maintain ties with al Qaeda.

Milley made the comments testifying alongside Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and head of U.S. Central Command Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie for their second day of questions from lawmakers about the U.S. withdrawal of military assets from Afghanistan.

"The Taliban was and remain a terrorist organization and they still have not broken ties with al Qaeda," Milley testified. "I have no illusions who we are dealing with."

He added: again that the Taliban "have not broken with al Qaeda."

These two Generals must resign and Joe Biden either resigns or is impeached.

(Lt. Col. Stu Scheller,) the Marine officer who posted a viral video demanding accountability from military leaders for the failures in Afghanistan, is now in the brig, Marine officials confirmed Tuesday.....Now that is truly shameful. Call your Senators and Congressmen to release him immediately!

Yes it was a strategic failure, it was nation building. We should be employing my emBASEee strategee. From my home page:

I have been advocating for several years a policy I call ‘embaseees’. Embassy + AirBase —> EmBASEeees. We go into a terrorist country, clear out their taliban equivalent, then withdraw to very large Embassies, perhaps 3 of them. Have them big enough to encompass a military airbase where we can use it for decades on end to conduct anti-terrorism operations. As long as the ‘host’ country aint killing Americans then we let them have self-sovereignty. Kind of like how we operated in the Phillipines for decades. We could even have an intermediate zone that we patrol but it would be autonomous. Let them have their taste of freedom. A referendum every 10 years to see how large the boundaries of the intermediate autonomous zone should be.

NO one elected Milley to sell out America.

HE IS IN CHARGE OF HIS PENTAGRAM who pulled
a coup d’etat against the ELECTED PRESIDENT.

there is a name and penalty for that
if FREEDOM is to survive.

But shall there ever be an accounting, given the current state of disarray in the Joe Stolen/”Que mala” Harris regime?

Talk about a Chinese fire drill....

What would success have looked like to General Milley? We militarily subdued the enemy. That’s what the military is for. We lost a political (for lack of a better word) battle, the point of which was always unclear, and probably changed over time.

Islam is in a multi-millennia war against Christianity and the West. It’s a very asymmetrical war where they can quickly ebb and flow worldwide as needed. They launch $600 Qassam rockets to kill civilians that require defensive shoot-downs with $60,000 Iron Dome missiles. They can spend less than $10,000 bringing down the World Trade Center and hitting the Pentagon. This asymmetry is everywhere in Islam’s war against the West.

The West has to wake up to the fact that 1) we will be in a perpetual half-measure war with Islam, 2) we submit to Islam, or 3) we overwhelmingly crush it. There are no other choices. Today we are withdrawing from #1 and are slouching toward #2.

Yes, a failure for the US but more importantly a failure of leadership—Milley and company, plus Biden and Harris. They should all resign in disgrace.

“Islam is in a multi-millennia war against Christianity and the West.”

The West is also at war against Christianity. Lose morals, subsidizing single moms, abortion, and LGBT flags are not Christianity.

When I was a Commander, I couldn’t just throw people into the stockade/brig.

I think they have to show that the person is dangerous.

I’ve been out for a while, so it might have changed.

Is Nancy Pelosi Pulling Gen Milleys Strings?

————·-—————————————————

It Was a Coup: Pelosi Was the One Who Pressured Milley to Take Action Against Trump

So, in other words, Pelosi was indeed fomenting a coup with the military against Trump, and Milley actually took concrete steps to interfere with that presidential authority.

They were committing the very insurrection/coup of which they accused Trump.

Will the GOP finally act on this?

This is intolerable and completely unconstitutional.

FYI——The Gaslighting Begins After Gen. Mark Milley’s Treasonous Actions Are Revealed: What Milley did in conjunction with Speaker Pelosi is the biggest breakdown of the constitutional order in modern history.
Red State ^ | 09/14/2021 | Bonchie
FR Posted on 9/14/2021, 11:53:53 PM by SeekAndFind

Earlier today, one of the most consequential stories in a long time broke with the revelation that Gen. Mark Milley, now the Joint Chiefs of Staff, had colluded with the Chinese to possibly commit treason. The discussion that led to the quote in question happened via secret, unsanctioned calls between Milley and a top Chinese general. At one point, Milley is reported to have pledged to the Chinese that he would tip them off about any possible attack coming from the United States.

Later, it was revealed that Milley was working with Nancy Pelosi, both of which were trying to subvert the constitutional system in order to essentially neuter Donald Trump’s ability to function as Commander in Chief.

Now, the clean-up crew has arrived to gaslight everyone and claim that was transpired not only didn’t amount to an intention to commit treason but was “routine.” Here’s Pentagon stenographer Jennifer Griffin relaying the message without a hint of skepticism.

I am told that Gen Milley had 2 routine calls with his Chinese counterpart and more than a dozen calls with NATO allies after Jan 6 to reassure them the US government was stable and to reassure China that the US did not plan a surprise attack, an effort to avoid misunderstanding.

— Jennifer Griffin (@JenGriffinFNC) September 14, 2021

As far as the facts on the ground go, Milley has two choices. He can either claim that the quote attributed to him by The Washington Post (which was quoting Bob Woodward’s new book) is false and that he never said it, or he cae country from a coup, but in the end, it was he that did more to execute a coup than anyone on January 6th.

None of this adds up to be routine, and it’s incredibly insulting that the Pentagon thinks they can brush this under the rug with such a whitewashing.

Good news, everyone.

The Pentagon is happy to inform us that it has investigated the Pentagon’s actions and found that the Pentagon did nothing wrong. https://t.co/XWTtFWCiSN

— Jordan Schachtel @ dossier.substack.com (@JordanSchachtel) September 14, 2021

What Milley did in conjunction with Pelosi n admit he told a foreign adversary that he was willing to commit treason. There is no third option where Milley and the Pentagon get to pretend that all of this was routine because it absolutely was not.

Regardless of what “fears” Milley may have had following January 6th, we still have a constitution and a military that is controlled by civilian, elected leaders. There is no possible justification for a military general setting out to not only conduct his own foreign policy but to also offer aid and comfort to our enemies. That is, by the very definition of the word, treasonous.

Further, no one should be taking Milley’s claims of concern as a representation of reality. He is a deeply disturbed, delusional man who went so far as to compare January 6th, an event that resulted in no purposeful deaths except a police officer shooting Ashil Babbitt, to the Russian Revolution. Milley apparently saw himself as saving this the biggest breakdown of the constitutional order in modern history. We had a general essentially declare himself a military dictator, calling up foreign adversaries to let them know he had their back and would sell out his own country to give them information. And for what? There is no evidence Donald Trump was going to order an attack on China. Rather, Milley’s actions were driven by his delusional god complex.

But even if you assume Trump was going to do something dangerous (he wasn’t, but let’s assume), Milley’s obligation would be to refuse the order, resign, and notify Congress. It would not be for him to make secret calls to the Chinese to let them know he’s going to feed them information.

This is the kind of thing Republicans can not let go of. There have to be repercussions here or we cease to be a functioning nation. If that means a Republican-led DOJ taking action in 2025, so be it.
