My grandparents were patriotic liberals and good people. I think they would have little idea of what to make of the commies running around in this administration.

You know, I’m Jewish; not practicing, obviously. Raised Lutheran. My Great Grandpa converted to Lutheranism when he got to America (late 1800’s) because, you know, it was just EASIER than being a constant target as he was in Germany back then. Germans persecuted Jews LONG before Hitler showed up.
I’m glad he did. I can practice the best parts of both religions and no one is the wiser. :)
Never, in my entire life have I felt compelled to think about someone having to hide me from the authorities. Hiding in plain site works pretty well. ;)
