The idiocy of this should be obvious to anyone with half a brain:
1. Fire thousands of workers in an industry that is already under stress.
2. Activate the National Guard to replace those health care workers -- leaving the employers of those NG personnel short of staff.
3. And do all this while millions of employers can't even find enough workers to fill the positions they already have open.
I honestly think an IQ above a mildly retarded level disqualifies anyone from serving in government in New York.
Presumably, almost all of these people are licensed and certified medical professionals; anyone walking through the doors of a hospital is trusting them with their very lives.
Accordingly, they make medical decisions throughout the day by analyzing data, symptoms, health history, et cetera.
Now think of the hubris of an elected official to presume that their analysis on this one subject is incorrect, and that such an error in their analysis requires their very replacement.
NY brought the world Tammany Hall style politics complete with vote fraud bribes and murder.
Howard Dean in his 50 State Initiative said they had to emulate Tammany Hall.
They flat out told us what they were doing.
I hate living here in NY.
