If that's today's new, and always changing goal, then we ain't never getting back to “normal”. Or perhaps, that's the point. Make goals so unrealistic that all the bureaucrats get to keep their choke hold on the public.

President Trump worked very hard to get out-of-control prescription costs lowered, one of those things most Americans didn’t know about, because the media never reported any of the good things Trump did.

The pharmaceutical companies are making BILLIONS with this vaccine.

More and more every day, I suspect this whole thing is engineered by the Democrats to help their big pharmaceutical donors recoup their losses.

Gosh and I thought we were promised just 2 weeks to flatten the curve. Then there was the promise that at 60% to 70% of some combination of vaccine, natural immunity, or acquired immunity (recovered from infection) we'd have "herd immunity" and the spread would basically die out of it's own accord.

Now the number is 98% vaccinated to return to normal? In other words unachievable, we're never going back to "normal" - well, the fascists don't want to give up their power and let us return to normal. We are going to have to fight to regain our freedoms and liberties.
