In fact, if Democrats so desired, they could have easily raised the debt limit back in March, when they passed their first $1.9 trillion spending spree. But they didn’t, and now they are begging for Republicans to bail them out politically for their own borrow-and-spend ways. Republicans should refuse.

This is NOT a reason to increase taxes. It is reason to CUT taxes.
Well, that would be a “start”. Lots more to be done, I think. No honest Republican should vote for more taxes or raising the debt ceiling, but everyone needs to vote for reduced spending.
BS. You are the economic and math retard.
We are on the right side of the Laffer inflection point. Every time in the past when the tax rates were lowered REVENUE increased. Every time. In the 60’s, 80’s 2000’s. EVERY TIME.
The question is what would revenues have been like if the rates had not been cut. Would revenue have been even higher without the cuts? No way of telling.
Poppy cock. If rates are reduced and that is followed by an increase in revenue, that is PROOF POSITIVE the tax rate was to the right of the Laffer inflection point .

Horse manure. A lot of things can affect revenue. That alone is not enough to determine where on the curve we were to begin with.
You are purposely being obdurate. You are not serious person. You degenerate this place.
Until they get their plantations back.
