New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) is considering deploying the medically trained members of the National Guard ahead of an anticipated shortage of health care workers.
Hochul released a comprehensive plan to address staff shortages in New York facilities Saturday, amid concerns that a large number of health care employees will not meet Monday's vaccine deadline.
Reminds me of when the unions would strike and the company would bring in “SCABS” to work. The members of the National Guard should refuse to comply. The vaccine mandate is still being litigate in the courts and all mandate deadlines should be suspended until this is fully settled by the Supreme Court.
Can’t they just hit all the refusal crowd with rifle butts like in the Cuban Revolution’s early skirmishes with crowds of unarmed women? More efficient than carrying them to jail in SUVs. /S
Golly - just conscript the medical workers into slavery and forcibly inject them with the national guard.

Also said that those fired could not get unemployment. Many are either pregnant or breast feeding. A risk most women are not willing to take.
The insane part of this is, using the national guard is a temporary solution, bringing in foreign workers is a temporary solution....
The only solution is to remove the mandates or find enough permanent people to resolve the issue which is not really practical..
You can be assured that Red States like Florida, which do not have these type of mandates are actively recruiting Doctors, Nurses, etc...to move South and if any sizeable percentage do, it makesbthe solution for NY that much harder.....
But I could care less, they are doing it to themselves..

Many Guard Soldiers have refused the vax and are waiting to see what the discharge policy will really be. Unknown to many is the fact that some states Soldiers are under state law and not the UCMJ. It’s each states choice.
Could they send them in to solve the sex worker shortage also?
As usual, demonrats create the problem, then devise solutions which only create more problems.
So they’re going to try and use the military to supply the shortfall.
Guess NY state will be shelling out enormous cash for healthcare.

National Guard have civilian jobs, and at least some of those jobs are in health care. Robbing Peter to pay Paul ain’t very effective, but then government rarely is.
Maybe the DemoRat voters need a taste of their own poisonous decisions however that may be painting with too wide a brush. I suspect a lot of the unvaccinated healthcare workers are conservatives. Any democrat with even just an ounce of sanity remaining in their dumb brains should bolt from this tyrannical diaper show.
