Depends upon what you consider a leftist. Boris today isn’t the Boris of yesterday. IMHO.
The fuel shortage is linked to his NEW crazy fossil fuel rules which are her ideas .

Johnson may be economically “conservative” as in pro-capitalism but he’s socially to the Left bending his knee on “Climate Chance” policy and heck even the CCP in China wants capitalism they can control and profit from.
And Johnson’s “Conservative” UK government spends money into the ground with COVID making the debt problem even worse.
