Disturbing photos show homeless people in New York City's storied Garment District near Penn Station shooting up and dealing drugs in broad daylight as the crime in the area has spiked 41 percent since last year.
Homelessness in the area has been a years-long issue but has become more rampant in recent months, with people not even trying to hide their drug use.
Photos taken by DailyMail.com show one man with what appears to be drug paraphernalia in his hand, and another slumped over in a wheelchair.

The photos appear to only show the aged and disabled......I’m quite certain those who have increased the crime and drug use are much more than what the daily is willing to show....perhaps they’re seeking a compassionate response.
Thank you, Democrats.
Under DeBlasio we are back to the 70’s and 80’s … before Giuliani cleaned things up. Democrats decree dystopias.
Same images at most urbanized European train stations. Dope-zone out of Frankfurt’s station ‘shelters’ around 4,000 junkies.
That area has been on the decline for many years.
Penn itself is okay. Major investments/construction underway in recent years.
Every major US city has the same situation taking place....massive homeless camps with open drug use, crime and absolute lawlessness.
Easily solved.
Free carfentanyl
IF I CAN MAKE IT THERE , I’LL MAKE IT ANYWHERE....it’s up to you New york New YORK!
Leftist cesspool.
I am so glad I visited NYC in 2000. Absolutely no interest in going back ever again. Life is too short, and plenty of other safe places to see.
I was in Brussels last week. There were homeless people living in doorways but none at the train station and nobody with a needle hanging out of their arm. We saw more garden variety beggars.
Sad, but true.
All products of a democratic run city and state
Once you step out of the Frankfurt station, if you swing your arms in a 180-degree direction....3 blocks in each direction...there rests the homeless-junkie crowd. The station security folks do a good bit to ensure they stay out of the station itself. But if you walk in the mornings via the tunnels to the subway....there’s always forty-odd people in the tunnels who just did their junkie moment. I’d go and suggest that about a hundred new junkies move into the district every month now.
Over in Berlin at that city park on the east side....that’s completely taken over by junkies now. Probably two to three thousand that will pass through the park, or lounge there during the day. I wouldn’t let a kid or pet roam the grounds....just too many needles there. Whole suburb around it wants the park dissolved.
Exactly. Euroweenies are very quick to point fingers across the pond while ignoring their own problems. It's basically the same thing Castro did for 50 years.
New York, the San Francisco of the east coast...
Democrats’ paradise.
What a shame. We flew into Frankfurt and I spent a month in Aschaffenberg, working in a nearby town. On our free time we would tour the area. Except for a graffiti problem in some areas everything seemed so clean, safe and peaceful. My wife even came over and spent a week with me. She would be walking through the town by herself while I was working and she never once felt unsafe. Just the other day in Bruges we went into a Christmas shop whose flagship store is located in Rothenberg, one of the nicest places I’ve ever visited. It’s sad to hear Germany is falling apart.
