Palo Alto woman Alexandra Souverneva is suspected of lighting a fire near where the Fawn Fire started, Cal Fire announced on Thursday.
Employees working near the JF Shea and Mountain Gate Quarries reported seeing a woman trespassing at the property and acting irrationally.
Snip
According to her LinkedIn profile, Souverneva was enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the environmental chemistry program at State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry. Also on her page, she lists her current occupation as “shaman.”

No, she is a Stumpie.
At least that is what the SU students called us when I went to SUNY ESF in the mid 80s.
Watermelon starting fires. Hang her.

PC had begun to take hold by the mid-80s. I attended ten years earlier.
now that’s funny right there
I’ve always thought that a lot of these “wildfires” are actually arson.
Me? I wonder how many NY Taxpayer Dollars went to subsidize this nasty twerp’s “education?” If she, indeed, started the fire, she should be held liable for every damn dollar of damage caused by the fire and every cent paid to Firefighters for containing the blaze..

Not much hope that will ever happen. She is a Ph.D. student in environmental chemistry.
I have only met a couple of youngsters who were getting degrees in environmental science. Both were really nasty.
I have concluded that students get an environmental science degree because—
1. They have a nasty personality
2. It is easy to get good grades
Crazy eyes.
I suspect this nut cases climate change Doctoral thesis was going down the $hiter, so she tried to fix it with a molotov cocktail.
South Dakota had one like this.
A woman lawyer.
This woman was seen in the location of many fires that started up.
They believe she was using cigarettes packed with wooden match heads.
She would light the cigarette, throw it into a thicket and drive off.
She would be many miles away when the fire started
Connecticut has 4,842 square miles (counting land areas only). 3,671 square miles is roughly 75% the size of the state of Connecticut.
This woman is a Ph.D. student in New York state and starts fires in California. Because it rains too much in New York in the summertime for fires to get as out of control as in California?
She accidentally dropped a burning bra in the weeds?
She just has to say “I wanted to start a conversation” and she will be let free.
If Federal lands burned, she’s looking at spending 5-10 years in Federal PMITA prison. No country club prison.
I’m all for severe prison time for fire starters. I’d have no problem with 25 year prison sentence....it’s a form of attempted murder as I see it as they have no clue how many people could die.
Alexandra Souverneva outed as an FBI employee...charges dropped.
I’d charge her with murder. Just think of the thousands, if not millions, of wild animals dead, not to mention some humans.
