The only thing Graham does for us, is give us one more seat
that can attain us the majority. That does affect if we are
in charge or not. That is a big deal, but it’s no consolation
when he pops off, or votes against us.
At least we get to control the committees and the Senate
business.
Now, if we just had a leader in there...
Sorry, “we” were not in charge when the GOP had a majority in the Senate. The GOP was in charge and happily provided Biden with full top cover while Democrats operationally stole the election.
I would argue that McConnell forfeited the opportunity
afforded to the Republicans to make major changes in the
first two years of the Trump presidency.
He and Ryan pulled off a colossal blunder that should be
studied in Poly-sci classes for the next few centuries.
When Trump went up against Biden, we didn’t have the majority.
Our members still could have been supportive of getting to
the bottom of the criminality that took place, but nobody
wanted to take the issue seriously.
There again, this was a colossal blunder.
We had the other team dead to rights, and just sat on our
hands, or worse yet trashed the harmed party, Trump, and
there-by harming the Nation, and the Republican Party.
It’s as if these people lost their ability to reason.
Either that or China or someone else has the goods on them,
and is blackmailing them all.
