Great appointment. Somebody needed to say these things and really call this “pandemic” response exactly what it is, fear masquerading as medical care. This doctor sounds sane and is probably going to be under relentless attack.
I’m glad DeSantis is challenging not only individual violations of our rights, but the whole concept that somehow a police state and the long-term destruction of society constitutes a reasonable response to a disease.
DeSantis is my Governor, he’s been at the forefront in dealing with Covid in a way that’s not totally insane...
I hope he keeps going, the one thing I hope he does is start treating the pandemic as endemic to our world, it’s never going away, just like the common cold and flu, Covid will come back over and over again and we need to treat it with any possible solution, nothing is off the table...
We need early treatment with existing therapeutics like Ivermectin, HCQ, etc....vaccinate only the most at risk people and move forward without fear or restrictions...
