The courts have figured out that they can find anything they want no matter how asinine stupid or flat out un constitutional and we won’t do anything about it. This will keep on until we do do something about it.

I will assemble as many as required to defend my rights against all interlopers....Federal or private.

That’s the mentality of colonials back then. Even George Washington and Jefferson called Virginia “my country”. All it takes is one state aka Texas to make it’s move..

I could joke it’s lucky they aren’t in the US, just a commonwealth. But....

Legally, Massachusetts is a commonwealth because the term is contained in the Constitution. In the era leading to 1780, a popular term for a whole body of people was the word “Commonwealth.”

Is California a commonwealth state?
The Commonwealth of California is a self-declared sovereign state, more commonly referred to as a micronation by external observers.

There are four states that refer to themselves as “commonwealths,” Massachusetts, Kentucky, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

What is the difference between a commonwealth and a state?

The commonwealths are just like any other state in their politics and laws, and there is no difference in their relationship to the nation as a whole. The distinction is in name alone.

Now as to the Republic of Texas....

The government of Massachusetts has no claim to negate the inalienable right of assembly, and they lost any claim to oversight of public gatherings under health diktats when former PresIDent Obama partied it up in Massachusetts without any COVID protocols.

According to the state’s high court, whether, when, and how the citizens of Massachusetts may gather in each other’s dens and bedrooms are all questions of “significant government interest” to the state’s governor, and are therefore within his regulatory power.

Pretty sad considering the Separatists aka Pilgrims gathered in homes to worship until they had a church built. Even after they built a church in Plimoth, people too far away would gather in a group in one family's home.

Property rights?

In California Newsom made it law no more single family homes to be built only apartment type buildings.

Marxism is spreading fast hello 1984.

So I wonder if the 87,000 new agents in Biden’s IRS are going to take away the privacy rights of every ones bank accounts?

Cases normally go from a state supreme court to a Federal court. Why is this case trying to skip the normal processes? That alone would be grounds for not hearing the case at the Supreme Court.

I like to put it this way: Think of a brick wall. Back before the civil war the bricks were the states and the federal government was the mortar that held the wall together. Now, we have a wall of mortar with 50 marbles pressed into it.

That’s why, before the war, many called it “these” united states rather than “the United States”.
