As an original Space Command 309x0 Space Systems Specialist (1983), I approve. I like that they kept the E-7 thru E-9 upper chevrons and related it to orbit types.

I am saddened that they omitted the rank of “Space Cadet.”
Why call them sergeants instead of creating a whole new name? Sergeants are in charge of people, while Interplanet Janet and her Cosmic Crew are in charge of keyboards and screens.
Is their camouflage going to be black with millions of bright white dots on it so they can blend into outer space?
Why did they put a globe on the senior enlisted ranks? It's Space Force, not Planet Force. They missed the opportunity to put the Milky Way Galaxy on it.
