Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will win enough seats in this 44th general election to form a government, the CBC News decision desk has projected.
It's still too early to say whether it will be a minority or majority government.

Actually, you could also get away with gobbling up Manitoba and nearly all of rural Ontario outside the GTA and Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge/Guelph tech triangle. Heck, you could even get away with taking the triangle as well, just as long as certain folks living there were given a stern, Texan “talkin’-to”. :P
I like that, the Republic of North America between Mexico Grande and New Canada.
And maybe annex Cuba, for a country that stretches from the Caribbean to the Arctic, from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
No matter the topic, I usually despise anything Canadians like. This still holds true.
There is a reason Canada is the worlds worst underachieving country. The should be ten times what they are. Instead they have embraced every bad idea England and the US ever had and made them worse.
Could also take the eastern-most parts of New Mexico, the proposed state of Jefferson, a few swaths of central NY and PA, southern IL, a good portion of IN, most of NV, and chunks of various other contiguous states.
It’d be a gerrymandered mess. But, probably not more so than most congressional districts.
What the hell....extend it through the Aleutians into Russia, all the way to the eastern city limits of Moscow.
I’m feeling ambitious today.
The real problem is Canada, like the USA I suspect, is just more socialist than it was even 10 years ago. 34% Conservative seems to be the top.
Trudeau is handsome. Pretty much it. Fiscal issues were ot even addressed.
Think of it this way. If 3 random canadian were together chances are 2 would be socialist and 1 conservative. In Alberta it would be 1:1.
There equally as bad. I’ve lost hope for the USA as well.
Indeed they want to tell us what we can do in our Church and homes. We are not allowed to counsel someone who is gay for instance.
I see the PPC was a non factor only get 1.6%
I currently live in Central America where the vast population is Catholic. They actually let our missionaries go into the public schools every September to teach the Bible. Try doing that anywhere in the U.S.
Sure, there are barriers to overcome but it's not so bad if you're patient and can learn Spanish.
When the Conservative Party sold out on vaccine passports, climate change, taxes and spending, they gave voters no reason to vote for them. They foresaked the Maxime Bernier voters when they decided to abandon their principles. Sound familar? Is the feckless GOP listening?
Nationally yes, but there were three ridings where the PPC got 7.5% of the vote and it caused the Liberal candidate to win.
There is a phenomenon there that is similar to here. The urban voters are moving to the suburbs because of the cost of living but are voting for the same party that caused their cost of living to rise. Of course, it doesn’t help when the Conservative Party decides to run as Liberal Light.
Yes sadly Canada just veers further left. I live in one of the most liberal places in the country.
Well the entire western hemisphere is now either communist or liberal ruled...what’s the difference?
