I miss Buckley... and don’t get me started on what has happened to his magazine :-(

I used to watch Firing Line religiously... my sister was amazed that anyone could sit through such boring nonsense...lol I sometimes pull an old one up on youtube and watch it... and the old shows at the convention with Gore Vidal were really something.

I loved all those shows. When I came home from school my mother had on guys like David Frost, Dick Cavett, Buckley, etc.

That dust up with Gore Vidal, someone else I admired, is legendary.

Uncomfortable to watch because Buckley allowed himself to be baited by a master and lose his temper.
