PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — He crossed the Mexican border into Texas only two weeks ago, joyous at the prospect of building anew in the United States. Now part of the first wave of deportees rapidly ejected by the Biden administration amid a fresh surge at the border, Johnson Bordes, 23, stepped off a Boeing 737 on Sunday and into the Haitian capital...
...He mingled with other confused deportees, many of whom hadn’t seen Haiti in years and now spoke Spanish or Portuguese better than Haitian Creole. Several families told The Washington Post that they were never told they were being deported back to Haiti.
“If Biden continues with these deportations, he’s no better than Trump,” Bordes said. “I’m afraid for my safety here. I don’t even know this country anymore.”...

“… Frank Q. Jackson was also questioned as part of a murder investigation after a car registered to him was seen leaving a crime scene, but no charges were ever filed.”

Maybe we’ll find out today. Then again there are no cell phone rechargers under that bridge and the Texas Rangers are blocking new entrants from Mexico …so maybe we won’t.
Life is full of surprises.
Then they should have stayed in Chile .....if indeed that’s where they were living!
Harsh?
Harsh is flooding OUR country with thousands and thousands of illegals!
IF Biden is really returning them!
I don’t believe anything out of his administrations lying mouth!
Welcome back Kotter.
Another happy landing...
They can’t block the ones coming across the actual bridge, but are blocking the ones invading via the river, at least at that one point. It’s shocking the border patrol is not allowed to block their arrival.
Jeez, my “copy and paste” in post two above must have had something residual in memory when I tried to copy the below to comment upon.
“…What’s going to happen when the word gets back to those under the bridge waiting?”
“Sonia Piard, 43, arrived in Texas last Monday, after a weeks-long trip by bus and foot from Chile. Her husband worked construction there for six years before she and the children joined him three years ago. They sold their furniture and dug into their life savings to finance the $10,000 trip. The most arduous part was a five-day trek through jungle.”
Sounds like Chile was the place to be!
Wait........What country are they talking about here? Sounds pretty USA to me?
That’s right...they could also return to Mexico and wait. I suspect getting on a plane they thought they’d be flown somewhere in the US or back to Mexico or where they had been in Chili etc.
Why didn’t they apply to come to the US as others have to. Working 6 yrs in Chili they had plenty of time to do it the right way.
Who knows? Lots of riots with lots of dead bodies, maybe??Anything is possible. Did anyone say Biden is a racist yet? That would be the first thing they would say, if Trump did the same thing.
Tell the dude, welcome to the club. We don’t know our country anymore either.
I think Biden announced these deportations with the idea some would scatter or go back to Mexico then he wouldn’t have to deal with the Bridge people building tent cities etc.
I have not announce of pity for these folks....not even a little.
They had jobs in Chile and seemed comfortable there.
They should have stayed there.
Chili doesn’t have the benefit programs the US does.
I was listening to Chinese people talk about what country they’d want to live in.....across the board USA because better social programs to assist people.
