I was afraid of that. There’s always a lot to do to get ready for pay week. Getting those extra timesheets doesn’t help matters.

The scenery up there sure is changing fast. Not much green any more. Even the grass is turning yellow.
Right now, with the sun low to the west, the whole area is golden. Very pretty.

Yes, yesterday afternoon I couldn’t do anything.
My back was killing me and bad cramps on my stomach.
I laid down for hours which is unusual for me.

Went to bed and slept till 11
Today was better but cramps slowly going away.

Got a busy week coming too

Hey there, radu!

Did it ever quit Nicholas-ing in your area? :) It’s just hot here. Hotter tomorrow. Ugh!

Howdy, luvie.

Nope. Nicholas is far from through with us. We have three more days of rain rolling through. We have a break in the rain now, at least, but it came down all day. 4.5 inches in the gauge.

Just one more day of the heat for you, then the cold front will run through to cool you off. Hang in there!

Three more days? You’re going to grow webbed feet by then. And here we sit over here spending a fortune watering our lawn. It should balance out somehow. LOL!

Yeah...Tuesday will be such a relief. I hope tomorrow is like that last burst of fireworks before the show is over. Done with. :)

A very pleasant good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Yep. We’re stuck with this mess until the cold front finally shoves Nicholas off to the east. We’re still under a flash flood watch until tomorrow evening.

We’d love to send it somewhere else. We don’t need it at all right now. This is going to hurt several farmers who need to harvest NOW.

I hope you’re through with the heat too. It’s time for some relief.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Were you able to make it out to the lake yesterday?

I hope we both get some relief soon. You from the rain and me from the heat. I feel bad for the farmers. They really can’t seem to catch a break this year. Is the cotton ripening now, too?

We were able to do Comanche Lake yesterday. I'm going to call Billingsley Ford later this morning to set up a visit to check the pickup for the Check Engine Light but yes we were able to do the lake and here are all the pics from yesterday.

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...glad you are getting the Check Engine Light checked out. What a pain, but needs to be done.

Looks like you and Gizmo had a great time exploring yesterday. Have more fun today.

You guys have a great Monday.

It was a rough start this spring since it stayed cold late into spring. The growing season was almost as perfect as you can get, with good rainfall and temps that weren’t scorching. Now that there should be a bumper crop, they can’t harvest.

The cotton here is still growing and blooming on the new growth. I guess he’ll do the same as last year - - come out and spray it with RoundUp to kill it and harvest when it’s ready.

Well good. I wondered if you might decide not to push your luck and would forego your outing yesterday.
I see Gizmo made the most of it and must have worn your feet out. LOL

Yuk on the roundup. That stuff is pure poison and I hope the wind is blowing away from your house!

I’m going to have to go now. My eyes are burning. Been a long day and spent a lot of the evening on Steve’s stream about that poor missing girl.
