FWIW, my union, a highly left wing union, has a lot of members asking about how to resist. Of perhaps 1,500 members, of which perhaps 10% access the ‘Telegram’ posting board(??), at least 1/4 of the postings are against the mandatory experimental shots. Given that many keep quiet for fear of negative attacks from union ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’, I would suspect that 3-400 will refuse the vaxx.
Personally, I am 60, I have no spouse, kids, brothers or sisters and my last surviving parent died in 1981. I have no house, no alimony, and my net worth is ‘negative’. I really don’t have anything to lose, or at least, anything my employer can ‘leverage’ against me. I lost it all about eight years ago.
I suspect that if my employer does push firing, with the REQUIRED intervention of the union it will be in the New Year. By that time, the TRUTH of the virus will be evident to most.
How will the gubmint keep things running with 20% unemployment and UUUGE unemployment and welfare costs? They won’t be able to! Even now the AHs at AHS (Alberta Health Services) claim that ICU patients are being sent to NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR, because ICUs are full in EVERY Province! I call BRAVO SIERRA! Flying a ‘critical ill’ patient 3,500 miles for an ICU bed? Horse ship! It is not unusual for patients from MT to travel to YYC for hospitalization, so I doubt that AB ICU patients would not be sent Stateside.
I discussed some parts of my personal situation with another FReeper via PM and he mentioned it brought to his mind Kristofferson’s (sp) line ‘Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose.’ I mentioned that the song has been running through my mind for the last week.
I believe the totalitarians in power once again, overplayed their hand. A ‘day of reckoning before the Lord’ is coming )for everyone) and a ‘day of reckoning’ before the people is ALSO coming for these totalitarians!

That 99.7 percent figure is a mistake in terms of how they are using it in this context. That number refers to the total numbers that include the sick but got over it crowd, those that had it but never knew it crowd, those that never had it but might get it crowd, those that never had it and will never get it, those vaxxed and those unvaxxed. In other words the death rate from covid as related to the total population of the country(the USA and Canada too if you want to lump them in as the Albertans are doing). That rate is 0.3% death rate for covid as related to the entire population.
For the populations that we know who actually get or who have gotten the disease, co-morbidities and not, the disease has been killing 1.7 percent of them. If you get sick enough to have to be hospitalized and you are in the unfortunate 15 percent of the hospitalized who actually have to go to the ICU, then the mortality rate we are seeing of ICU covid patients is 80 percent.
I do agree with what these Albertans are doing, and true,... 99.7 percent of the entire population of the US and Alberta will not succumb to Covid. It’s what happens to that population who actually get the disease that concerns me as an ICU RN. I’ve seen a lot of death from this disease or from the domino effects caused by this disease, especially in the last 3 months.
