Several medical groups and pharmacy advocacy organizations have released a statement calling for an immediate end to dispensing, prescribing, and use of ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19, outside of its use in clinical trials.
The groups include the American Medical Association, the American Pharmacists Association, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. According to a press release, ivermectin is approved by the FDA for the prevention of infections caused by internal or external parasites in humans but is not approved for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19.
Ivermectin is also frequently used by veterinarians; although there has been widespread use of the drug in humans, the groups noted in the press release that medications formulated or intended for animals should never be used by humans. Calls to poison control centers regarding ivermectin use in humans have increased 5-fold since the beginning of the pandemic, as its use has been found to be harmful to those who have consumed it.
“We are alarmed by reports that outpatient prescribing for and dispensing of ivermectin have increased 24-fold since before the pandemic and increased exponentially over the past few months,” write the associations in the prepared statement. “As such, we are calling for an immediate end to the prescribing, dispensing, and use of ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 outside of a clinical trial.”
The organizations are also calling for physicians, pharmacists, and other health care providers to warn patients against the use of ivermectin, including the purchase of the drug through online stores. Patients should be advised that veterinary forms of the medication are highly concentrated for large animals and have a significant toxicity risk for humans.
The CDC and FDA have issued statements saying that ivermectin is not authorized or approved for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19, and the National Institutes of Health, the World Health Organization, and Merck have all said that there is insufficient evidence to support its use for COVID-19. Guidelines on the treatment and management of patients with COVID-19 from the Infectious Diseases Society of America also counsel against the use of ivermectin outside of the clinical trial setting.
“Reports” from where? Link?
I just took one 250-pound dose once a month and when I actually contracted the Fauci bioweapon virus I was barely sick. Didn’t know I had it for a couple of months until I gave blood and the Red Cross said I was positive for the antibodies.
The “medical community” has no standing. They are a corrupt political tentacle of the Swamp.
It’s literally criminal these organizations are restricting the use of effective medications just to push this toxic and close to worthless vaccine. I can’t believe they are actually getting away with this.
“Ag ivermectin getting impossible to find”
Just hit up your local ranch/home/farm supply store.
I personally know where there are over 50 tubes less than 5 miles from the house.
And we now have a Big Med to go with Big Pharma.
Right now I’d trust a used car salesman before I’d trust health professionals.
Suddenly, everyone is diagnosed with parasites!
When are the doctors ever going to speak up.
Establishment Medicine are pure evil scum. Corrupt to the core.
That reminds me...
Anyone order anything from a pet care company lately?
Then have the box arrived opened and/or heavily damaged?
We did recently. And I’ve heard similar from some others.
Now we’re wondering if the packages are being searched for horsey paste...
I have to ask… why the prevarication?
you know better...
Nope.... all local for me. Likes to spends my money local whenever possible.
“Calls to poison control centers regarding ivermectin use in humans have increased 5-fold since the beginning of the pandemic, as its use has been found to be harmful to those who have consumed it.”
A. Prior to the pandemic I would assume that human consumption of Ag grade ivermectin was extremely rare, making calls to poison control regarding ivermectin also extremely rare.
B. A call to poison control does not necessarily mean a case of poisoning.
C. It is extremely difficult to overdose on ivermectin. A person taking the entire tube of Ag ivermectin - a dosage for a 1250 lb. horse - may experience an upset stomach.
D. If they were really concerned about potential ivermectin poisoning then they would not discourage the dispensing of it under doctor supervision.
They are doing this so they can give it to the afghans and illegals coming over the border, nor us citizens
You might want to look into it a little more closely. What was approved was a ‘vaccine’ that Pfizer plans to release next year (or the year after?). Not the same as the jab that is currently being pushed. The propaganda pushers deliberately conflate the two to confuse as many as possible.
I prefer the 1% ivermectin injectable for cattle and swine. My rural feed store is out, and their supplier is out.TSC still has the horse paste here and there, but they’re cracking down on it. Last week, you could still order the injectable from TSC online. Now it says not available. I have a good stock but it is getting harder to find.
I’m down to two tubes so I guess I better save them just in case I get sick.
The plunger may not be long enough for me...lol
Seriously, I opted to get a 500cc bottle of 1% IVM injectable a while back. Looked at buying a box of 100 of the 12mg tablets but the price was steep compared to the injectable..and you can just swallow the injectable, but it is not pleasant tasting..it is orally active just like the paste.
At 1% concentration there is 10mg per cc of the injectable...so the bottle has 5000mg in it total...it was 94.00 delivered but it seems to be hard to locate now... I tried to order two more bottles...
One needs to make sure they get the version with ONLY ivermectin in it and no other ingredients! The bottles with extra ingredients looks quite similar so be certain! And there are liquid formulations for spraying onto animals, you don't want that :-(
The guy that mows my huge lawn told me he got the last large 1000cc bottle of injectable at the local feed store, they usually have a bunch of this as it's used a lot in this rural area.
My attorney is 72yrs old and diabetic, he has the paste on hand as he raises cattle on the side...he took the Moderna jab but I told him to keep some fresh paste... just in case...and even more importantly I told him where to get a Regeneron infusion locally.
You need a syringe and needle to get a measured dose from the bottle, then you can just swallow the vile tasting stuff..
IMO it is criminal to not have this available at every pharmacy by just asking the pharmacist and it should be packaged as tablets with dosing instructions... it is in many countries.
