Just spoke to this Haitian man at the international bridge in Del Rio. He told me he left Haiti in 2016 and has been living in Chile. He said not enough food is being provided & asked me when more is coming. Some men have asked if they’re going to be deported.

Well think a minute.....If you knew you wouldn’t qualify for legal immigration because you had a criminal background, nor could you qualify educational wise what would you do? A plane ticket isn’t all that hard nor getting visas for S. American countries. So when the doors open you can always pretend you’re a refugee. Most of these people are illiterate.
