What kind of test was that, a useless PCR? It really sounds like she has influenza, and the PCR can be positive for CV19 with many things including influenza. What happens with AZ, HCQ and monoclonals for CV19 if she has influenza? This is “medical care” in the USA?
This is the current testing method, yes.
Even though the (now, mysteriously deceased) inventor of the test said it was NOT adequate for CV testing.

If someone gets sick now, the dr will test for everything, flu a, flu b, strep, SARS 1, and SARS 2 covid.
Everything.
And results are obtained the same day; been there, done that.
If the dr is checking everything, he isn’t worth squat.
