Maybe President Biden should handle COVID-19 the way he’s handled Afghanistan.
It’s a strange thought, given how badly he botched the US withdrawal. But at least Afghanistan Joe had a clear idea about what we needed to do. COVID Joe has no such exit strategy. He’s making it up as he goes.

Biden relishes this fight. He’s already achieved one of his goals — to change the subject from handing Afghanistan to the Taliban in time for the anniversary of 9/11. But the other political calculation is that he doesn’t need the support of people ideologically (and foolishly) opposed to getting vaccinated, but he does need the support of those who despise such people.

The dems do not seek solutions, ongoing problems give them reason to nose into our lives.
He's withholding life-saving monoclonal antibody infusion treatment to those people whom he deems as politically undesirable.
This will force infected people (vaccinated and unvaccinated) into the very hospitals that Biden is complaining are already overcrowded, and now understaffed due to the employee vaccination mandate.

Joe Biden doesn’t have enough mental acuity to play politics. It seems that he can only play with little girls. This sock puppet is told what to say and when to say it by the bun headed soy boys on his staff.
Jonah Goldberg is one of the reasons Biden is in there.
One of the political calculations of doing this was to get Afghanistan out of the news.
...and Goldberg makes that point himself, but Biden “relishing” it? I doubt he came up with it himself.
