It’s clear the federal government will enact policies and programs that run roughshod over the constitutional liberties of the American people without a second thought.

No other words required it says it all.

Fact check completed

This restriction comes as part of a new set of sanctions pushed by the Biden administration against the Russian Federation for its habit of poisoning political opposition to attack the Second Amendment and the US Constitution.

fixed it.

prohibiting Americans from importing “ammunition manufactured or located in Russia.”
= = =

So this will stop ballistic and cruise missiles from Russia, right?

And books with the words ‘ammo’, and ‘guns’, too.

That isn’t possible. From everything I’ve read and heard, the ammo manufacturers in the US are running 7/24 already.

I tried.

But I fail to believe that ammo factories cannot add more equipment and more workers to meet the demand.

First, there is the problem of space, then the equipment has an 18-24 month lead time, then there is a labor shortage, and finally, what are they going to do with the very expensive equipment when the shortage is over?

Hopefully they would be smart enough to amortize the cost of the new equipment in the sale of what the new equipment creates.

I’m sure they will but industrial equipment has a long amortization schedule. It’s not like writing off computers after 2-4 years. It’s like 20 years.

20 years seems awfully long.

I think I’ll look it up...
