The whole notion is so stupid that it does cast some shade on Woodward's book. I am skeptical, except that we know two things about Milley - he testified that he could imagine no need for Bagram and he was angry with himself for his march through a pacified riot zone in Trump's company.

Not one source for this claim is named. These are not journalists, despite the notoriety. If the authors of this book, Costa and Woodward, had such information way back when and could verify it, why, pray tell, did they not sound the alarm right then and there? This book smells fishy,
What publisher would publish this, except for trying to make money? If they knew that General Milley is a disgusting traitor to his country in every sense of the word, why did men who call themselves journalists care about their country and care about the credibility of their profession, why did they hold these claims in silence until years later? Follow the money. Follow the trail to the cadre afraid that Trump, the most fabulous president of the U.S. ever, will be president again.
This book with out one source named can only be characterized as a propaganda creation - just one creation hoping, like the myriad of lies that have been made - one more anti-Trump attempted hatchet job.
