Coming from Bob Woodward, I’d be suspicious. Bob wipes his feet on the truth to say the least. But now that Milley freely admits it (much to the consternation of his future lawyer), he should be relieved, and that’s just for starters.
Count on it. He should be prosecuted under the UCMJ, his actions absolutely are prejudicial to good order and discipline, but nothing will happen to him on that, either. No general will put their head on the block for that, especially when the president will just say, “Nope, we’re not doing that.”
