Yeah, that one was tricky.
10 out of 10. Thank you Steve Irwin.
9 out of 10, missed the rodent question, darn!
Indeed! He did a lot to create interest in strange critters. :)

Howdy, Kathy! ((((hugs))))
Thanks for the ping-a-ling! Was your work day a monster or a breeze?
Howdy, luvie.
It helped that I’ve watched a lot of nature programs over the years. LOL
It was a hot, steamy day but a thunderstorm not too far away late this afternoon cooled things off nicely. A cold front comes through tomorrow and temps are going to be pretty nice for the next 10 days. Fall seems to be closing in.
WOOHOO for your rain! I hope it was wide-spread and put out some fires. You must be tired of smelling smoke by now.
Fall might be moving in here too. It's been hot the past several days but a cold front coming through is going to back things off nicely. Gotta say we're ready!
Hubby just came in from mowing the last bit that needed it. Took three days to get it all done because it was REALLY shaggy. He had to wait for parts for the mower that were on order and they took a long time getting here. Nice to see the place look civilized again. LOL
Had a good weekend at the museum. Saturday was a steady flow of folks and they kept us hoppin'. Friday was slower and that was a good thing. I had two WWI backpack racks to spiff up and got them looking much nicer. Here are before and after pix of one of them
It's cool looking at them to see how functional they were for that time and the materials they were made from, great work!
I got 10/10 because MoJo can have whatever pet she wants. I don’t care what Ma says. LOL! Fantastic quiz, luvie!! Hope all is well.
Ahhh...I’m SOOOO ready for a cool front! It’s supposed to be 96-98 here on Friday. Mother Nature sure has a weird sense of humor!
Oh! I wanna be a Canteen Zoo Keeper. I’m really good with animals-—especially those that don’t listen!! I’m an expert!
Well, of course you did! You d’ MOJO after all! LOL! All is well here. Still too warm for September, but oh, well. :)
Well, you have to start out at the bottom of course, but ok. You KNOW what that means, don’t you? Has something to do with elephants. heehee
10/10. Guess I like animals.
...and you’re smart! Great result!
Wow! That made all the difference!
I was amazed at how well they cleaned up. They were in mighty rough shape. I kinda like that the sweat stains are still there and show up so well. You know the racks got a lot of use.
It sure is cool seeing what they used and how they were made. Now I hope there’s at least one backpack in the stuff that was brought up from Tupelo, as well as other items that would have been hung on a rack. We still haven’t unpacked all the crates.
UGH!!! I hoped this front would dip down far enough south to catch y’all up too. Sorry to hear you’ll miss out on this round.
It almost hit 90 here the past three days and that was too hot for our liking, though upper 80s are pretty normal this time of year. But we’re reaching the point the temps will dip to lower 80s, with no more 90s. We have a couple of 86s in the forecast and the rest of the days will be cooler.
Made a huge difference, didn’t it? I love having a chance to bring those old military items back to life.
