An upstate New York hospital announced on Friday that it would pause baby deliveries in its maternity ward over an epidemic of resignations related to the state’s COVID vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.
“If we can pause the service and now focus on recruiting nurses who are vaccinated, we will be able to reengage in delivering babies here in Lewis County,” said Lewis County Health System Chief Executive Officer Gerald Cayer according to a report by WWNY.
In the maternity ward alone, there have been six resignations which will cause the hospital to halt delivery services after September 24, a situation Cayer hopes is temporary. However, another seven employees in the unit are still on the fence about the shot which could lead to a longer than hoped-for “pause” in services.

Simple solution……
Samaritan Purse was able to set up a field hospital in Central Park, free of charge to the government. Have them start popping clinics up. Folks can donate to the them to cover salaries and/or maybe a small fee for service.
Problem solved.

Very stupid to resign, they should let themselves be fired and then sue or wait for lawsuits.

For most of my life I looked up to folks in the medical field. I mean, they must be really smart and just oozing with integrity, right?
Suing is a risk with our government. If one sues and loses, one is stuck with lawyer bills of both sides. It is not that simple.
I have THE solution:
The hospital still has an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), right? So why not simply shift all of the vaccinated nurses from the ICU to the maternity ward?
No one will notice, right?

That’s just it, nurses have been in short supply way before covid. They just thought the nurses would all comply like a bunch of mindless robots. Now they got their collective tit in the ringer and don’t know whether the chit or go blind.
