Bastardi was talking about this last night. Said if it stays closer to the area below mid texas coast, probably will not be a hurricane. Were it to travel farther north north east into the gulf, it would be one.
From the look of the recent models, it appears it will remain a TS.

I’m North of Corpus Christi looks like I can hold off on watering plants. This thing popped up quick local 6am news noted a disturbance area but nothing about named storm

Entered Texas I 10 westbound at 12:30pm. Rained all the way to Houston. Then stopped. Thank God. Right now at Buccees in Katy and it’s not raining. Headed to San Antonio Where rain is desperately needed.
But not likely to get any.
/end weather report on the road. Back to I 10 west.
