Biden et al remind us everyday of how imperfect and unworthy we are as a terrible outgrowth of a flawed history.
So why shouldn’t we be attacked?

I'm not so sure that they are the same. It's the next generation. They seem more interested now in getting complete control and international recognition (which would explain their relative cooperation with letting Americans get out up until their deadline). I think they appear mostly interested in making loads of money from opium and selling their mining rights, frankly, and using radical islam as a tool to control the masses.
If that's so, it's the same dangerous game the Saudis played/are playing
