I read somewhere in the masses of stats which I’ve read in the past that less than 50% of the people shot with handguns actually die from being shot. Handguns are poor stoppers. This is merely my humble opinion, but they’re “glorified slingshots”. Having said that, they’re still the best personal defense weapon going for “most” people.
It’s kinda hard concealed carrying an AR, even an AR pistol.
My daily carry is a .40 caliber with 16 rounds. I mix the rounds in the magazine. Alternated with FMJ and HP of different amounts of powder.
I can assure you, if a person gets shot with a .40 in center mass they are done. I also have other weapons for home defense too that are definitely not pistols that are better suited for that kid of duty.
