This story makes no sense. I am a disabled Veteran, but avoid using the VA for medical needs. Now that I face the prospect of losing my job because Fuher Xiden’s mandate, I may need it, due to loss of benefits.

I use steps a lot. I’ve seen in many buildings that the stairwells are actually locked so you can’t get back out. I always check how the handle is working before going into a stairwell for the first time.

Sometimes, believe it or not, the very bottom one to the outside is locked so you can’t get out. True death traps.

I have a cousin on Search and Rescue after his stint in the army. Iraq war vet too. He’s had his encounters of idiot jurisdictional morons as team leader. The worst are the govt agency starting with “F” 3 LETTERS who dont know the lay of the land, and everyone in the room knew that he was just spouting nonsense to make himself look important. The good part is they mostly dont monitor comm chatter and the veteran search teams do the opposite of what he told them.
