Twenty years ago today we had a new guy at work that asked where to get a cup of coffee so I took him up to the cafe. The TV was on to a fire in a skyscraper. Another plane came in and crashed into the other tower. I realized what was going on so I went downstairs to tell the guys to forget about he maintenance they had planned on doing that day and turned on the TV. Imagine what the new guy must have thought as to what was going on. Things changed a lot after that. I was working for the FAA then. I had been on duty the day the Murra building in OKC blew up also. I was right in the middle of things for TET 68 also. Things changed after these events. We can expect a lot of changes coming now also. Be resilient. Things are out of our hands so put your faith in the one that created this place in the first place.

My goodness, mountainlion...you have “been at” multiple major events in history.
Thanks for sharing...did the new guy come back the next day?
