I'm not a lawyer nor a psychiatrist nor an HR rep, nor do I play one on TV. But if I may, based on decades of observation of how politics works (and life) here's how I see this going down:

1. Nothing is real until something is posted on OSHA's website. Until then, sit tight, don't panic, pray, and please stay sober rarestia - these pieces of excrement aren't worth your sobriety. Indeed, I would suggest that INTENT of this act, isn't to improve health and protect employees (if it was, all of congress and the Postal Service employees wouldn't be exempt) but explicitly to cause panic, grief, sorry, despair, and nihilism. Your staying sober - and all of us keeping our cool - is the biggest middle finger you can give The Enemy.

2a. For the past 26 hours, the best classical conservative legal minds and law firms have established a War Room and have been busy drafting lawsuits and briefs etc. for a range of scenarios they expect to come down from OSHA. Trust me...maybe RINOs are twiddling their thumbs, but all you need is 500 razor-sharp legal minds who've lived their lives waiting for the day when they may save the nation - they're working overtime on this baby.

2b. The senior partners of these firms are assessing which Federal judge is most likely to rule prudentially on the legality of whatever it is that lands on the beach.

3. The nanosecond OSHA posts their illegal rules, lawyers will assess if they go with their lawsuit behind...

4. A phalanx of lawyers, law firms, and legal briefs will rain down upon the federal court system with their pre-packaged lawsuits. It'll be glorious.

5. At the same time, conservative bloggers, opinion leaders, and Brietbart et al will, having likely been given a sneak peak of what's coming down, will unleash their views and opinions on the interwebs. It'll be coordinated, and yes it'll look so, but WGAF.

5. Shortly thereafter, a Federal Judge will issue a stay on OSHA's rules.

6. Keep your heart beating...some numb nuts Obama appointee will try to block the Federal Ruling. MSNBC will shriek with delight.

7. Remember steps 2a and 2b? Part of that effort was anticipating the Obamabots and they'll have launched a per-emptive legal strike to block the block.

8a. At some point, this will get escalated to SCOTUS. But, vitally, the OSHA rule will remain blocked.

8b. Companies are facing a serious labor shortage, they can't find the right people for the right job. And if you consider the legal weight of a private corporation collecting, warehousing, and safeguarding from cyber criminals (not to mention nosy employees) all this highly confidential employee information on their vaxx status, few companies will rush into the buzzsaw. Sure, some will jump into the saw, but many will stand by. In the meantime, find a friend or two in HR.

9. By June 2022, since it'll inevitably be a 5-4 ruling and SCOTUS usually saves those for the end of their term, we'll get something. And, if that's not interesting enough to consider, perhaps just like with Gore, SCOTUS may rule that OSHA had this right, but since by June the pandemic will be 'over' SCOTUS will say OSHA's mandate isn't needed anymore. We lost the battle but win the war.

Maybe we'll win, maybe we won't in the courts. But, that'll buy us another 10 months to strategize. Ten months is a LOT of time. And, if you really want to dream, it's ten months to plan to block the 2022 midterm steal AND prepare for a 2024 washout Trump win against President Harris.

This is not over. This is far from over. The time to quit isn't here, the time for violence isn't here. It is time, to show them some mettle.

A government contractor on Twitter claimed he "had no option" other than compelling his employees to take the jab. My advice: declare Force Majeure. My employees refuse to be vaccinated and possess skills, domain knowledge and clearances that are not replaceable. Death or disability caused by the jab would permanently damage the ability to perform on the contract. Likewise, loss of employees threatened with vaxx or termination would damage ability to perform on the contract. Put that black swan in the KO's Smart Car.

My comments are influenced by my current contract where the staff has worked on 25 integrated subsystems as a team for the last 30 years. Everyone has a TS or better. Onboarding a new team member takes a couple years. I've been a principal developer on at least 5 of the subsystems since 1991. There are many other groups with similar depth and breadth of skills.
