The easiest way to drop the case count is to stop asking everyone to test.
That's why the US count is so high - plenty more resources to test over and over again, whereas poorer countries won't go to those extremes.

I’m familiar with the term “pandemic”, but what is “pandemic mode”? Other than by Dr. Fauci telling us, how do we know when we’re in it, or out of it?
