Leaders of the Satanic Temple aren’t just outraged with Texas’s strict new abortion law.
They say it’s also a matter of religion.
“Consistent with our tenets that call for bodily autonomy and acting in accordance with best scientific evidence, The Satanic Temple, based in Salem, religiously objects to many of the restrictions that states have enacted that interfere with abortion access,” the religious group’s website says.

They are not supporting general religious beliefs, they are attempting coercion of violence and harm.
Even the setting for the statements are confusing. Satanism is not witchcraft. Witchcraft is a study and worship of the mother earth. Satanism is for the destruction of man thus the defeat of God. Two different things.

It’s getting nearly impossible to distinguish MSM from the Babylon Bee. This very matter-of-fact piece is utterly tone-deaf with respect to the fact, well, devil worshippers aren’t exactly popular with most people of good will.
The demons in Massachusetts don’t need to worry about what we’re doing in Texas. They need to worry about the fate of their eternal souls.

Leaders of the Satanic Temple being outraged is a good thing.
That Satanism is considered a protected religion is absurd.
So has many a "mainline" Protestant denomination.
