McConnell sends ‘lots of love’ to Dems Sinema, Manchin over $3.5T spending blockade

With apologies to New Order, this is a bizarre “love” triangle.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said he and the rest of the chamber’s Republicans have “lots of love” for a pair of Democrats — Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.).

That’s because the pair of moderates have pushed back on their fellow Democrats’ plans to push through Congress President Biden’s $3.5 trillion social spending package.

“It’s called a reconciliation process that can be done with a simple majority, but [for] a simple majority of the Senate, you’ve got to get every single Democrat, plus the Vice President and Chair in order to pass it,” McConnell told a crowd of supporters in his home state Wednesday.

“So we’re down to two who are resistant: Joe Manchin from West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema from Arizona. I pray for them every night. I wish them well. We give them lots of love.

Yeah, that’s what Dems need, support from China Mitch. All that does is ratchet up the pressure on the Dem holdouts. But, China Mitch knows that.

If McTurdle, et. al did their jobs four years ago, we wouldn’t need that grifter Manchin’s help anyway.

They fold every time!

Something extra special will be added to the legislation (after all, its only money!) which will benefit West Virginia and Arizona and each will feel duty bound to spend $3.5T we don’t have for the extra goodies for their states.

Happens every time.

These are the people who enabled this.

Dan Sullivan (R-AK) Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) Mike Crapo (R-ID) Roy Blunt (R-MO) Richard Burr (R-NC) Deb Fischer (R-NE) Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Rob Portman (R-OH) Thom Tillis (R-NC) Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) Jim Risch (R-ID) Chuck Grassley (R-IA) Bill Cassidy (R-LA) Kevin Cramer (R-ND) Roger Wicker (R-MS) Mitch McConnell (R-KY) John Hoeven (R-ND) Susan Collins (R-ME) Mitt Romney (R-UT)

They knew when they were voting for the $1.2 trillion they were enabling the bigger, worse one.

Hey Bitch McConnell...is that yellow streak on your back from being a coward and pissing in your diaper or your show of solidarity with Red China? Or both?

Mitch is pissing into the wind. This bill is going to pass. Thank him and his globalist RINOs for what’s going to happen.

Mitch is a feckless fool. His support for infrastructure 1.0 set the table for version 2.0 and Bernie’s and AOC’s remake of America. Manchin and Sinema will protest and cave when it counts.
