A close relative is a pediatric ER physician in Charlotte. These cases are tearing her apart.
I am so sorry for her.
I live in Charlotte but rarely pay attention to the local news (usually gag-worthy and left-leaning). Cases like this usually filter thru to me eventually. This is particularly horrendous for the ol’ hometown.
“Richard Rozzelle Drive” is off Rozzelle’s Ferry Rd and Hwy 16/Brookshire Blvd. Not an area you’d want to take the kids for a picnic. Although, I will admit, I rented a car one time (car in the shop), had a flat in the area...and two different people stopped and offered to help me change the tire. I’m white...they were black...so I know I stuck out like a sore thumb.
