America and the West are not the world. This doesn’t happen in China or Russia.
Yep... I’ve been saying it for decades, screaming it in the wilderness as folks don’t want to hear it...
The Public Schools are failures, they are indoctrination centers, they do not educate, they do not teach children how to critically think and have not for DECADES...
Everyone just says, not in my school, my school is good....
Sorry folks they aren’t.
Don’t let the little bastards back in school.
I know a guy who is bisexual; he wants it, he buys it!
A sheltered youth is not always a bad thing.
We are kin!!!
Not an appropriate classroom topic !
Should a straight teacher be placed on leave if he discusses his wife in the classroom? A simple yes or no answer will suffice.
They would have already invented cold fusion had we just allowed them to work on the project.
So a straight teacher should be similarly punished for talking about his wife/girlfriend?
That would be in bad taste.
If a straight teacher mentions his wife but does not discuss his sexual choices, he should not be placed on leave.
If a straight teacher discusses his wife or any sexual partner in the context of some choices or habits related to sexual issues, that teacher should be placed on leave.
If the straight teacher discussed his wife or girlfriend or anyone in the context of SEX, yes, that person should be placed on leave.
Do you see the difference?
Teacher #1 tells the students, “I am bisexual” and then presumably has to explain it, just in case there are some students who are not clear on what that means.
Teacher #2 tells the students, “My wife and I ate at McDonald’s last night.”
Do you see, in the 2nd example, the teacher is not discussing sex or sexual preferences, gender identities, etc.?
This information is very limited, but it seems this guy was telling his students about himself. There was an LGBT flag in the presentation. They asked him about the flag, and he said he's bisexual.
It sounds to me like this guy was getting to know his students. Personally, the LGBT flag represents who someone is. It is not purely about who someone chooses to have intercourse with. Personally, I think that's a pretty narrow view. If you think that flag is simply about sex, that's your choice. We just disagree on that point.
I don’t think there is enough information in the article to make the assumptions you are making. You think the teacher described his bisexuality just in terms of sex. If he had said, “being bisexual means I go to McDonalds on dates with either men or women” would that be better in your view since you used the McDonalds analogy?
Homosexuality is an abomination. You can’t paint it in any other way. It is busting up families, world wide, as we talk about it. When it hits your family, it is no longer a topic of conversation, it is hell.
You can’t continue to love a person who has chosen to be an
abomination.
That is all one has to say.
