Who are Free Canadians supposed to vote for when both sides want Passports
The leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Erin O’Toole, promised a federal proof-of-vaccine system if his party gets elected, which means that those who support civil liberties are going to be left with few options.
Prime Minister Trudeau made a similar pledge and NDP’s criticized the current PM for not having already implemented a federal vaccine passport system.
In a stop on his campaign trail in British Columbia, O’Toole revealed his party’s pandemic-related plans, including a national proof-of-vaccine system, arguing that Canadians would need it for travel.
Trudeau, in his reelection campaign a few weeks ago, promised a $1 billion COVID-19 proof-of-vaccination fund to assist provinces in developing and implementing their own systems. The Liberal PM said the fund would help provinces that wanted to implement a vaccine certification system but were wary because of the costs involved.

Years ago, Canada gave China their old NORAD base across the border on the East Coast. Chinese soldiers there were told they would be there 8 months, a few years ago. Looks like Trump’s election changed the plans China had.
There was a story kicking around FR around half a year ago now, about a Canadian traveler who returned to Canada, having traveled when Trudeau said not to.
She was returning on an urgent basis for a medical appointment and was in pain. She was detained in an otherewise dark, empty airport terminal, along with others guilty of having traveled during a time Trudeau said not to.
Unsmiling Chinese people processed her paper work and demanded she go to mandatory quarantine. At some point the pain and exhuastion of trying to explain to them she would miss her medical appointment got to her and she attempted to leave. Unsmiling Chinese officers escorted her back to the line. She was shifted to a chinese woman who didn’t want to hear about her appointment either. The only Canadians present, she said, looked like they were hoping someone would ‘get out of line’ too much and require some restraint.
She missed her medical appointment. This is Chinese takeover - it’s what they want for America, what has already been happening in Israel.

They already did in my hometown of Vancouver. Back in the 90’s there was a joke about the city being called HONGcouver. No one’s laughing now. Plus, I do “work” for
certain WB shows in Vancouver and I’ve turned them down the past year due to that stupid vaxx mandate. Another glaring difference is that the cops there arrest you for being maskless compared to me on set here in L.A., talking to LAPD cops on set security, face to face, no masks and just joking around.

The woman's story of returning to Canada for treatment, and being stymied by Chinese authorities, was in Vancouver, IIRC. Bizarre. I couldn't tell if she was saying the people giving her grief were simply of Chinese descent, or if they were actually officials on loan/assignment from China.

I think it is IMHO. You rarely see white people during the daytime in downtown Vancouver LOL, they only come out at night. I’ll look into that story with my contacts. It’s gotten so the point that I’ve seen dudes personally who yell “get lost you effing chinks” in public thru the years.
Well, that is one sure-fired way to tamp down any excitement from the conservatives in Canada for the up-coming election.
