The Satanic Temple is challenging the recently enacted abortion restrictions in Texas, citing religious freedoms.
The religion said on its website that it stands “ready to assist” any of its members who want to fight the law. It said has lobbied the state for an exemption to the law under its own religious freedom law — Texas Religious Freedom Restoration Act (TRFRA).
The group said if the state declines to provide the exemption, then it will seek “judicial relief.”
The controversial abortion law bans virtually all abortions once a “fetal heartbeat” is detected — which usually occurs at around six weeks in pregnancy.
It also allows private citizens to sue those who perform or aid in an abortion in violation of the law and offers $10,000 for successful cases.
Under TST’s Seven Fundamental Tenets, the religion believes that’s one body is subject to “one’s own will alone.”
The religion also believes that beliefs should conform to one’s “best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.”
The religion announced last week that its lawyers sent a letter to the Food and Drug asking that its members can access abortion medication without being subject to its regulations.
TST argues that its members should have access to the medications under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which allows native Americans to have access to the drugs for their religious rituals.
The honesty is refreshing for a change about which side the abortionists are on.
“I have the freedom to murder an innocent life, created by the actions of irresponsible parents?’ And yes, it’s irresponsible to not use one of over a dozen forms of commercially available and cheap.
Exactly what “freedoms” is he talking about?
This is just publicity seeking. As soon as one of these cases get filed it will challenged and dismissed on the basis of Roe. And the dismissal will be upheld every step of the way unless the USSC grants cert and overturns Roe. And that’s not going to happen I think.
When Satanic Temple members come into a room in a public place and have first name recognition and hugs from Dems and SCOTUS justices that will provide bad optics for the tabloids and People Magazine stories.
“Great to see you guys again. How long has it been? You know probably the big party for Soros’ birthday. Boy, that was a blowout, wasn’t it?”
Sorry, that is not accurate.
A law like that would be instantly enjoined because of Roe v. Wade.
The Texas law allows any resident - except government employees - to file a civil lawsuit against any person or organization that aids or abets an abortion.
The basic idea - abortion providers would be bankrupted or overwhelmed by litigation.
I’ve said before I believe that anyone who condones abortion is in the Army of Satan.
Just goes to show you, the murder of the unborn is itself Satanic. The master of the satanic was a murderer from the beginning, and still continues his murderous works today. His time is running out however, as he and his minions will one day be locked away forever in the Lake of Fire.

My reply would be that we force people to do things with their body all the time in the name of saving lives. One example would be forcing you to move your foot from the gas pedal to the brake in order to not hit someone crossing the street.
It's basically using the liberals' own legal tactics that they used against gunmakers and tobacco companies against them now--that's all. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Great optics.
actually it’s more restrictive than that. Liability on attaches to one who aids the performance of an abortion. Thus, the Uber driver who drives a woman to PP would not be liable.
Well, if the satanists religion compels them to perform human sacrifices, my religion compels me to kill satanists. See how this works?
[[Just goes to show you, the murder of the unborn is itself Satanic]]
Always has been. Satan tried to destroy the line of Christ by having all infants murdered by herod, and a cliple, couple, times too I beleive where Satan tried to,disrupt the line. He also doesn’t want people growing up, getting saved, and being used by God, because he is the enemy of God, and hates anything associated with God, so he destroys, and abortion. Is one of his methods of keeping, people, from being witnesses for God on earth.
Satan is a roaring lion, and is always stalking around looking for God’s people to destroy, and looking for the unsaved to,enslave in sin (they think they are ‘freeing themselves by throwing off the shackles of morality’ buT really morality is what frees, not immorality- many an addict or drunkard can attest to that- they would love to be free from the addiction this is killing them, but are too unwilling to go through the hell of withdrawals. Addiction has enslaved them, contrary to,what they thought drinking and xrugs and whatever other vices they endure in would bring them.
Note, I say ‘they’ but we all have our own demons to fight. Life is a a battle and struggle all,our lives as we battle what we know to,be wrong but we do anyways, over and over. I don’t just call out drunks and addicts. Satan knows, how,to,get each of us to take our minds off of God by indulging preferred sins, anger, gossip, envy, gluttony, sexual sins, lust for power,, for revenge,, whatever it might be. Again, Satan is a roaring lion, looking to destroy mankind
Abortion is a religious rite, a religious sacrifice to Moloch for the Satanists
Now that is the correct symbolism. Kill the babies, eh? I think their patron saint, Richard Ramirez killed a little child, too.
So, are they arguing that Abortion is worship of Satan?
