Capitol rioter's hearing was delayed hours before he was scheduled to be sentenced after videos surfaced on social media in which he is alleged to be attacking a police officer.
The man, Robert Maurice Reeder, 55, of Maryland, had been set to appear Wednesday afternoon before U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan after he accepted a plea agreement in connection with his involvement in the Jan. 6 riot. Prosecutors had asked the judge to sentence Reeder to a fine and time in prison.
The group also posted the videos on its Twitter page. In a 21-second clip, a man the group claims is Reeder appears to shove an officer outside the Capitol. Reeder then appears to get into a scuffle with an officer before Reeder falls to the ground.
The man in the video is wearing a mask, a red "Make America Great Again" baseball hat and a gray hoodie with a blue and black jacket — the same attire Reeder is seen wearing in images included in his criminal complaint.

Doesn’t this open the door to demanding access to the other 14,000 hours of video, for all defendants in this case?
which I believe is part of his pleading. But the fact that he dressed as a Trump supporter, complete with MAGA hat, makes him an agent provocateur and worthy of a harsher sentence that most.

Has the prosecution used any of the 14000 hours of the capital videos? Wouldn’t that mean the defense gets access to it?
These prosecutions are politically motivated, and are done out of anger and hate. They have ruined the lives of anyone who was at the Capitol on that day. Solitary, illegally.
The ACLU knows, and doesn’t care.
The legal “justice” system in this country is being used for political purposes.

They are using the prosecutions for propaganda purposes, making the real Trump supporters renounce their support for Trump and plead remorse and even insanity.
Solely to make them look like cowards and aholes to take any remaining dignity away, so no one will look at them as brave.
I guess it’s good that their confinement is being reduced, but it is not honest, what they are really up to.
If there are videos that might prove someone’s innocent isn’t it required to turn it over to the defense? If they don’t isn’t that grounds for a dismal? Why are these people awating trial in jail? Why no bond? Even murderers get bond.

The problem is that they didn’t throw him under the bus. The entire title and lede were an attempt to make him seem like a genuine Trump supporter, rather than the agent provocateur he was revealed to be further in the article.
Most people never read beyond the headlines.
