Cornell University has aggressively pushed its students to get vaccinated, announcing a vaccine mandate for the 2021-22 academic year in April and frequently denying religious and medical exemptions.
As a result, 95 percent of the campus population, both students and faculty, is vaccinated.
Despite this, Cornell University has more than five times the amount of confirmed positive cases during its first week of this academic year than it did during its first week of the 2020-21 academic year, according to the Cornell COVID dashboard.
By the numbers, during the first week of school that ran from Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 of this academic year, Cornell reported 322 positive COVID-19 cases.
In comparison, during the first week of school last year, which ran from Sept. 3 through Sept. 9 of 2020, Cornell reported 59 positive COVID-19 cases.
That is 263 more cases, or more than five times the amount of positive cases, when comparing the first week of school.

Ithaca is Evil
PhD’s can be quite stupid.
As a west Texan once put it: “THAT boy has had one too many years of college.”
The vaccine is the virus.

OK, Did they break down the positive cases by Vaxxed vs. Unvaxxed?
IF 95% are vaccinated, that means 5% are not vaccinated.
What is the student population of Cornell?
I’d like to break down the positive cases by infections per hundred.
““THAT boy has had one too many years of college.””
And that was likely based on the facts on the ground of some decades ago.
Things are a couple of orders of magnitude worse now...
The vaccinated are the super spreaders.
You can crunch numbers all you want, but at the end of the day the vaxxes are not preventing the virus—it is ripping through the vaxxed folks like crazy.
The Big Pharma Execs and Boards of Directors should be put on trial in an international tribunal for crimes against humanity, and every single dollar they have earned in the last two years should be clawed back by governments throughout the world with triple damages.
It’s real easy. When was the last time you saw a hand washing ad on tv? Remember how vitally important hand washing was last year? All the hygiene spots have been replaced with “Get The Vaxx!”. People forgot and aren’t washing for two minutes and are catching Covid. Because the vaxx is good, the vaxx is good, the vaxx is good....
5% get to drink from the unvaccinated drinking fountains.
That means it’s working./sarc
I personally, generally, work on a social distancing protocol of 1/20th of a mile - 264 ft.
It’s worked well so far...
it’s those dirty townies... right?
twas mandatory
Did someone forget to tell the virus at Cornell that this is the Pandemic of the Unconvinced?
how many cycles are being used in the test protocol this year compared to last year? less? and still more recorded cases? Just asking.
Keep seeking and you will find the vax ain’t working.
“ PhD’s can be quite stupid.”

And also quite ignorant. Had they done more research possibly they would have realized that the Pfizer vaccine has diminished ability to prevent infection by the Delta variant while still being able to prevent most severe disease. The Moderna vaccine is still largely capable of preventing infection by Delta.
This differentiation between vaccines is fascinating—and a bit late after a billion PSAs have been put out there _not_ differentiating between them...
