Ever notice the very same U.K. police do not do this to Extinction Rebellion protests or other radical Leftists protests occur? That’s how you know those protests are paid and protected by the government.
On the other hand real and grass roots protests from the people are physically attacked.

I know the station well and these are people trying to leave the Underground (Subway/Metro) through the only exit, where there’s a small mall to the street.
Blocking such an exit is a dangerous thing to do, particularly with stairs and escalators behind bring hundreds of extra people up from the station every few minutes.
The Police made a decision to put lives at risk. The police tactic of “kettling” should be made a criminal offence and the officer in charge charged with endangering life etc.
Like Ive said before. The police are NOT your friends.

Yes indeed. The cops wouldn’t do that here. Too many of US citizens are armed and with Bydone Fn everything up daily, will not take much more.

Or no knock warrants. Or “qualified immunity.” Or stop and frisk policies. Or nearly unified resistance to constitutional carry. Or “safety” concerns that override the safety of the communities they police. Or the right to seize cash and other valuables without probable cause? Or a gang-like mindset that enforces a code of compliance with not snitching on law breakers in uniform. Or unequal application of enforcement. Or prohibition of ones right to decide what to put into their own bodies. Or “resisting arrest” as a crime independent of a crime necessitating arrest. Or “conspiracy” charges independent of the commission of an actual crime. Or the use of tanks, battering rams, and actual military gear on a routine basis. Or ... well, you get the idea.
That used to be a running joke about British Bobbies bashing people with Billy Clubs
Dream on. No one is going to do anything. Since most legal gun owners are law-abiding, and have actual lives and assets to lose, they’re not going to start shooting cops, no matter how tyrannical the government gets. That will only happen when the government has taken everything from them, and if the government gets the guns first, it’s game over even then.
