I am having to see many Doctors across disciplines as we try to figure some things out.

I am amazed at their lack of knowledge. I have started carrying scientific studies with me so that when I ask a question..and they look at me like I am an idiot and that I couldn’t possibly know what I am talking about....I whip them out and say this does exist.

Their lack of knowledge on what to do with abnormal test results is astounding. I had one specialist say to me “I don’t normally order that test”. Be that as it may...the test was ordered..it’s abnormal..WTF does it mean and what is causing it?

And when one wont order something I move on until I find one that will order it...like with an MRI. I even have the algorithms from other hospitals on what protocol is for XYZ issue and by golly I whip it out and use it when I ask questions.

I am disgusted by the whole damn process. Thank goodness I at least have objective evidence pointing to problems because if all I had was me saying I don’t feel good I would get no where.

I’m fed up too RummyChick. My Hubby has no immune system (transplant) and if he got it it’s curtains for him. He’s already got the 2 Pfizer and the booster. I got the 2 Pfizer and haven’t had the booster yet. I have upcoming surgery and I’m going to ask the surgeons PA on the 17th if I should get the booster so close to my surgery. I’ve got problems with that and the sad thing is I wouldn’t know whether to take his advice to heart.

I am amazed at their lack of knowledge.

Allow me to explain.

"Doctors" are good at memorizing stuff, and at sleep deprivation of their own selves.

This impresses people who aren't good at memorizing stuff or sleep deprivation.

People like me don't consider "doctors" to be all that bright. They're just good at memorization.

My old deaf cat has figured out that if he lies in front of the back door in the sun, I'll wake him up when I go to check on him. Memorization.

What you did was EXACTLY how you have to deal with them.

I hear you.

Dealing with this mast cell disorder has given me the same experience.

It’s a rare medical person who I tell I have been diagnosed with it who has even heard of it, much less understands the implications of what it means.

More often than not, I have to explain to them what it’s all about and I can tell by their reactions that they don’t believe I react as I do with it.

I can count on two fingers the number of doctors who actually tried to proactively do something about it over the last 20+ years when it has worsened on me.

And my diet is severely restricted to the point of being nutritionally deficient, and not one doctor has ever expressed any concern over it nor offered to try to find something to help.

I have pretty much been left to fend for myself and learn what I can on my own. The most use doctors overall have been for me is to get prescriptions refilled to try to control it.

At this point, I am biding my time. I don’t know when the other shoe will drop and the few remaining foods drop out of my diet, so I just take one day at a time. Some are good, many are not.

Doctors used to be scientists. Now, it’s like they are using the troubleshooting guide on the back of your instant pot booklet.

Imagine having a child patient get the mmr shot and then almost immediately come down with side effects that land them in the hospital, the child gets over the side effects, but the child never comes back to his normal self, and is now diagnosed with autism. Because doctors used to be scientists, they would read about the same situation with the same vaccine in other states, and come to some pretty common sense thinking. Precautions would take place.

Now, they would just be labeled an anti-vaxxer. Of course meant to be a form of derision. Even the outspoken people who have spoken up about this shot, are still brainwashed enough to add they are “not an anti vaxxer”.

Our poor children don’t deserve this. How many little boys are now on daily drugs so they can focus better? How many children now have life threatening allergies to common foods? How many children are now autistic compared to 50 years ago?

I watched vaxxed 2. The second half of the documentary was interviewing people who, due to an adverse vaccine reaction, have no longer vaccinated their other children. All of the children without vaccines are so much healthier. Most have never in their lives needed or had anti-biotics. If there is a cold/flu, the unvaxxed recover in record time compared to the vaxxed. Anyone can watch and come to their own conclusions.
